We have Sub-Divided Water Treatment into 3 areas.

(1) Domestic Water Filtration Systems- Reverse Osmosis drinking water system is used most commonly to purify water. It does this by removing salts and other impurities to result in improved colours, better taste, and improved properties of the water.

(2) Rainwater Harvesting- Rainwater Harvesting is the collection of water that would otherwise have gone down the drainage system, into the ground or lost to the atmosphere

(3) Sewage Treatment Systems. - Sewage treatment plant operate by providing an environment in which aerobic bacteria are cultured. These bacteria survive by using biological matter in the sewage as a food source. To provide optimum treatment, the bacteria need free access to oxygen and immersion in the sewage effluent.
